The Cisco Nexus 3550-F Programmable Layer 2 Application Platform (N35-FS-48X) and Cisco Nexus 3550-F L1 (N35-F-48X) switches are identical hardware products, and can be converted to each other by using the correct license. To upgrade the license in your switch, refer the "License Settings" section of this document.
